The Taiwan Scholarship Office accompanied the representatives of MOFA to visit the Taiwan Scholarship recipients in NTUT
Minister Abel Cheng-Hui LIN and Executive Officer Jen-Chieh YEH, from the Department of Policy Planning, MOFA, visited the National Taipei University of Technology on November 14, 2019, to meet the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship recipients.
In addition to caring about the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship recipients’ experiences and hearing some of their suggestions, they also shared their experiences with the Dean of the Office of International Affairs, Prof. Ho-Chiao CHUANG.
A scholarship recipient shared his experience of studying in Taiwan. He said that he wasn’t able to adapt to the new environment at the beginning, resulting in poor academic performance and even failing some subjects. After working hard for a semester, he is now among the top students. The scholarship recipients were greatly encouraged.
