The Taiwan Scholarship Office accompanied the representatives of MOFA to visit the Taiwan Scholarship recipients in FJCU
Minister Abel Cheng-Hui LIN, Section Chief Yu-Shan HUANG, and Executive Officer Jen-Chieh YEH, from the Department of Policy Planning, MOFA, visited Fu Jen Catholic University on October 18, 2019, to meet the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship recipients.
In addition to caring about the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship recipients’ experiences and hearing some of their suggestions, they also shared their experiences with the Executive Director Fr. Victor Carlos C. Yoy.
Some scholarship recipients mentioned the difficulties of learning Chinese in a foreign country. Minister Abel Cheng-Hui LIN and Executive Director Fr. Victor Carlos C. Yoy both encouraged the recipients and related their own experiences. With patient study over time, they will definitely succeed. The school will also provide various resources to help scholarship recipients during their studies in Taiwan.
